An exhibit of my illustrations opens this Tuesday, October 27, at Webb School in Knoxville, Tennessee. It will remain on display until my residency here is completed on November 13. If you’re driving through the beautiful Smoky mountains, be sure to stop by.

This week I started my artist-in-residence stint at Webb School in Knoxville, Tennessee. So far, I’ve had the opportunity to talk to some second graders about Hidden pictures. In the coming weeks there will be plenty more classes to teach and school presentations to make for all grades. The adventure has begun!

Pam and I worked late Thursday hammering out the schedule of classes we’ll be offering at AnAuthor World this coming winter and spring. We’ll have eight different classes, three of which we’ll be offering twice.

Due to some wonderfully supportive illustrator friends, I was able to return from the Highlights party with a van load of artwork–and the promise of more to come. All this in preparation for our exhibition opening on November 17. Got started with the hanging as soon as I got back!

I just returned from Honesdale, Pennsylvania after attending the annual Illustrators’ Party hosted by Highlights magazine. About seventy illustrators attended, many with family or guests. A great time–we’ve been going about fifteen years now and it gets better every year!
