So next week I leave for the Chautauqua Writer’s conference in western NY–the mother of all writer’s conferences. Cool! Signed up for all the best workshops, with the famous authors and illustrators. And I’m hoping to get some good advice on my latest writing project, a historical fiction Young Adult novel– a new genre for me, though the subject matter is still pirates! I’m hooked on them.
Anyway, I hope I can bring back some good information to share at our conference in August! And I’m looking forward to a change of scenery and in temperature–cool! There’s nothing else quite like summer in western New York. Maybe I can even get to a computer and post a few things from Chautauqua.
